Tweezy Bandoe a Baton Rouge native 26 years old has been rapping since the age of 11. His style of rap is street and gritty with a twist of redemption. Young rappers nowadays stray from the real life rap antics of rap legends like Easy E. This is why this young man is exceptional in the years of mumble rap he stands apart from his rap peers. His sense of being unapologetic while addressing what its like to be from the streets gives listeners a real glimpse into a forbidden world. He aims to reach people with the truth about what its like growing up Cross The Tracks. The young generation he says seems to grow up fast with the youth knowing more about life situations than people twice their age 14 year olds forced to become men because of their harsh Across The Tracks mentality and war like environment.

Growing up in Baton Rouge was a struggle . He recalls moving too fast and surrounding himself around people that would inevitably bring him down. At the age of 18 he found himself in a bit of trouble with the law

it was a task to keep his mind busy and had to stay doing something positive. Prison he says “Is what

you make it”. “ I would always be rapping and I knew I had what it would take to to really do

this”.

The birth of his child at 20 years old gave him a much clearer perspective he realized that he had to be there for his daughter. Raised by a single mother and losing his father to the streets

he is determined to break the cycle by creating wealth and stability for his daughter and loved ones. Investing his time and money into his career is the only thing that keeps his concentration clear.
